On completion of this course delegates will understand the reasons for using locators, Simple ways to locate street lighting cables, Location of bends, Location of junctions, Identification of utilities, Service connections, Locating through concrete reinforcing, Depth measurement (where applicable), Using Sondes for non metallic pipes and practical work, Hands on locating using receiver; transmitter and accessories..

More Information

This is a half day assessment combining both written and practical assessment of cable avoidance and underground services. As a half day course, you can combine this course with any other of our half day courses to create a full days training for little or no extra cost. Why not combine a cable avoidance course with perhaps our basic health and safety course, meaning you get two separate courses delivered on the same day.XYZ Training Group has the largest selection of Cable Avoidance training courses across the UK. Accredited training starts at 50 per person.
