Who Should Attend?

Our fire marshal training course (also referred to as fire warden) is aimed at staff members who will be taking on the role of fire marshal within an organisation Employees who are designated as a Fire Marshal will understand their role and their duties within the Regulatory Reform Order (2005).

Joining Instructions

Owing to the practical nature of this course a basic level of general fitness is required. Delegates must be physically able to carry out the procedures detailed in the course outline. Should you have any questions relating to the accessibility of this course please don t hesitate to get in touch. If you book an In House course, an external area the size of approx. 2 parking spaces is required for the live fire demonstration

Course Agenda

Our course programme employs a variety of teaching techniques to meet the needs of individual delegates and includes the following: Fire precautions regulations / legislation Chemistry of fire and how fire spreads Types and classifications of fires Common causes of fire Safety features within buildings Fire risk assessment (as a fire marshal) Fire extinguishers - theory Fire extinguishers - practical Safe evacuation of premises Action at assembly points.

Welcome to The Training Centre in Bitton! Getting here is straightforward. If youre coming from the A4174 in Bristol, simply head east on Callington Road. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto W Town Lane. A right turn onto Bath Road will lead you straight ahead. When you reach Kingsfield Roundabout, take the second exit onto A4174.
