Who Should Attend?

As of the 1st January 1993, new legislation in the form of the New Roads and Street Works Act (1991), made it mandatory that only appropriately qualified employees could work on a public street or road. As such, this NRSWA course has been designed for Operatives and Supervisors who have to erect or monitor the erection of signing, lighting and guarding for work on the roadways and highways.

Joining Instructions

General All visitors should to report to reception on arrival and follow site safety rules at all times. This NRSWA training course will be delivered with a high proportion of discussion and simulated assessments.Operatives and Supervisors will both be tested at the end of the course to ensure competence and, if successful, will be awarded with the NRSWA certificate for this unit.. The Operatives assessment consists of theory based and practical assessments.The Supervisors assessment will consist of classroom-based tutorials, discussion, written assignments and observation exercises.This course can be failed.
