This will be followed by a session on understanding the legal requirements and responsibilities of those involved in street works. Participants will also learn about the importance of risk assessment and how to identify and control hazards in the workplace. ##$$##The next part of the course will focus on safe working practices, including traffic management, personal protective equipment, and safe use of tools and equipment. Participants will also learn about emergency procedures and how to respond to incidents and accidents on the worksite. The course will then cover the planning and preparation of street works, including site surveys, permits, and notices. Participants will also learn about the importance of communication and cooperation with other stakeholders, such as local authorities and utility companies. ##$$##The final part of the course will cover the specific requirements for Units 1 to 6 & 9 of the NRSWA qualification. This will include practical training on excavation, backfilling, and reinstatement techniques, as well as theoretical knowledge on materials, specifications, and quality control. Accreditation

Upon successful completion of the NRSWA Units 1 to 6 & 9 training course, candidates will receive a certificate of accreditation. This certificate is recognized and accepted by the UKs Highway Authorities and meets the requirements set by the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991. It signifies that the candidate has demonstrated the necessary knowledge and skills to safely and effectively carry out street works.##$$##Candidates who are members of the National Training Card NTC scheme will have their accreditation automatically added to their account. This means that they will have a record of their NRSWA Units 1 to 6 & 9 training course completion and can easily access their certificate at any time. This is beneficial for individuals who may need to provide proof of their accreditation for job applications or to potential clients.##$$##At the end of the course, Xyz Training Group will provide temporary certificates of attendance to all candidates. These certificates serve as proof that the candidate has attended and completed the NRSWA Units 1 to 6 & 9 training course. While temporary, they are still recognized by the Highway Authorities and can be used to show that the candidate is in the process of obtaining their official accreditation. Once the candidate receives their official certificate, they can replace the temporary one with it.
